The 'Pothgul Wiharaya' is another importent place in Ratnapura to visit. It's placed about 5-8 kms away from Ratnapura. Pothgul wiharaya is in under a huge rock. It has very long history. We will tell you a legend. There is a well on Saman Dewalaya in Ratnapura.(Read more on menu) The legend tells if you put flowers in that well they come to the pond of Pothgul Wiharaya.
